Im back from magix camp! :) In my four years in st john, have never had a chance to plan a camp, so this was my first! Though short (yan ge lai shuo the camp is only 24 hours long) and small (with only a pathetic 11 campers who turned up, 8 year 1s and 3 year 2s), but nonetheless i believe everyone of us have gained something from it! It may not be a very organised camp, (from the fact that it was the first magix club camp ever and us being the pioneer organising camp committee), all of us would agree everything was better than expected :) The year 1s were more spontaneous, more high, more cooperative than we thought they would :D New frens, bonding & fun :)

 

Day Zero: We ate KFC at about 7 plus and all got hungry again at 10plus. lol. Skyped with bk and gang, lied on the bed at 12plus, chatted with sheryl sheena until 2plus :) Woke up at 7plus, and our very motherly nice president made ham & cheese sandwich breakfast for us! :D

  

Me leading the ice breakers game :) Candy Intro, shout-name game, concentration. Then, charades with very randomly lame stuff thought of by weijie. lol. Pizzahut delivery man sends ronald macdonalds to KFC -.- Budhha jumps over the wall and landed on a cactus -.- Santa Claus apply suntan lotion on a penguin -.- After that was balloon relay! Me and sheena got reminded of stjohn cos we were like 'gogogo, you can do it!" etc etc. hahaha. Then set off to mac for lunch. Played with our parents' names. lol oops. 

 

Then CAMERA IN ACTION! (One of the fav games i rmb in st john camps) Followed grace's grp, and they were really creative, some of which Ive never thought of. haha. And they were rather sporting and daring in approaching strangers to complete their tasks :) The first pic is to take with a couple of diff races, the second is someone with red hair. Another funny incident was the 'magic trick' belinda showed to some staff in hms office. Made me laugh like crap. Video is with grace lol. Went back to loft after that to practice magic! Dinner next at market, drinks treat by ms janice and then street performance at beauty world :) Grouped with joel and zhixian, response was good. 

 

Dirty night games planned by jiawen, ruth and weijie :) Despite no lights, late at night, tired and dirty, the year 1s still participated actively! :D esp the girls who volunteered to do the very dirty tasks like swimming in mud. Was very happy by their response la :) Anyway G DOUBLE O D J O B good joooob good job (clap clap) good jooooob good job to the 3 com members, they really prepared very long for the game :)

 

Bathed and went to the year 1s loft. Played abit of heart attack and then pictionary! Thought the year 1s would be knocked out by then, but they proved to be more energetic than us lol. Year 1s VS year 2s. Year 2s won la of cos, with telepathy. haha. Anyway, that monster which looks like a gun or some anumal with a big nose was supposedly a horse above drawn by sinyee. The rat was drawn by me. haha. I still think my rat looks more like a rat compared to the horse which dont look like a horse. Played until 2am!

 

Slept and realised in the morning that we were supposed to book out of loft at 930 am :( so the puzzle in darkness was cancelled :( Packed up, reflections, prize giving and phototaking! Breakfasted-lunched at makan place with sinyee ruth jiawen weijie and year 1s. Played zhong ji mi ma to clear the honey stars and beans (+ milo + lime juice + pepper + soy sauce) leftover by joel. hahah. Then home sweet home and slept till about 5pm.


Went downstairs for dinner, with baby's company lol. Then met up with the rest to play candles! Had been a long time since I played candles already. Last time used to celebrate lantern festival and play with candles every year with family and relatives! :( Baby and nic created an explosion, which almost killed eileen. Pls dial 19001126868! haha. and baby put the residue of the explosion on my campfire which almost killed bk. :x lol. Liying made a YU4 PEI4 & LIGHTER and bk made two YUE4 JING1 out of wax. hahaha kids :)

Ytd was supposedly the much dreaded (frankly speaking) magic show at duchess park, located ulu-ly behind hwachong jc, those very big bungalowss. But it turned out to be fun-ner than expected. haha :) Only me, jiawen and weijie were free to go. Go round performing vanishing silk, the change-colour-silk and the coins-flying tricks to the angmoh (mostly) kids. 

"Did you see the coins fly over?" Some said yes. hahah.
"Where did the blue silk come from?

They really gave the very shocking, unbelievable look la! Very cute :) hehe. But got twice almost got cai chuan. "You got something on your hand!" Then I quickly hide the "thing" and said "noooo, where got" haha.

Before going for the event, was feeling quite down, dono why also, maybe cos laptop cannot login. (reformatted in the morning le) After we left, I suddenly feel very happy :D dint regret going though the travelling time to and back is twice the performing time. haha.


Ok now, left two weeks of hols, time to review my holiday plans!

1. Wash my room! - Not WASH la, but at least my table & cupboards are tidied and cleaned!
2. Work? - Work for one day only considered? haha. ok YES. 
3. Buy a new-not-very-big-no-zehhhh-sound-when-i-strum-within-budget guitar! (must!) - This sat gna go buy! Hopefully :)
4. More badminton & basketball & swim! :D - Badminton (queen, chow, xr and tmr gng!) and swim (with baby!) Basketball not yet :( 
5. Leadership camp? - Decided not to go cos of several reasons. lol.

6. Red camp preps? Magic camp? Red camp not I in charge, magic camp is overrrr!
7. Watch TV and more TVs! :D - Watched chao ji xing guang da dao from last last time till now de! (without feeling guilty) and two korean dramas - qiang di! tao yan ye xi huan! :D
8. Meet up with adeline soh kok fang and gang - CLweiqi having promos! :x gohweiqi having As! :x
9. Organise desktop (once every sem break haha) - Reformatted so it became super neat and tidy now. don need organise le :x
10. GKS!

11. Learn skates! (session with ronny, josh & juowi on coming mon & tues!) - At least now I can stand and skate abit le! :) though got phoebia. haha. Thanks shua ge, my shi fu!
12. Develop photos! (but must get GK photos and others first! 800 leh lol) - Dont remind me that the photos i have PAINSTAKINGLY chosen are gone cos com reformatted :(
13. Dinner with bang gang once in a while (they need to study for prelims & As :( - MOVIE, KBOX, KITE-FLYING, LANTERN FESTIVAL :D
14. Hang outs with bzse! kbox? cycling? bbq? :) NONE FULFILLED. yet. lol. ohh sentosa! :)
15. Conquer BAR CHORDS! - NAHHHHH.

16. Go ws korkor hse play drums & practice violin. - Went to ws korkor hse ONCE and played awhile only :x VIOLIN is rusty le.
17. er ren shi jie with pee. hahaha. - ONCE only currently. haha. Meeting up this week :)

19. Look through memories stuff - Yeah, just looked through and tidy them today :)
20. Have a good rest! - Everyday sleep until 11 plus considered good rest hor. :x zzz

Add: How can i forget to blog about this omg. lol, val's blog reminded me. haha. 

1. After 4 hours of K, me baby val and eileen went to eat katong laksa while mq junyi and jm WENT HOME.
2. Then, we decided to eat dessert! :) Nice oreo milk ice or dono what. we share so one not enough.
3. We bought another! rose strawberry ice or dono what. :x 
4. After eating full full, we walked strolled to the bus stop and realised we walked the wrong way! 
5. So we U-turned and went to the right bus stop.

And here comes bus 43 after like 5mins or so. YAY! So we board the bus and sat down at the front seats. Val sat beside me while baby and eileen sat facing the side. Then I saw baby's face gave a very shocked look. I thought maybe he saw someone familiar in AJ or what. AND GUESS WHAT. ITS MQ JUNYI AND JM! OMG! Its like 十万个不可能 lol. See how i elaborated on what we did, from laksa to dessert to gng to the wrong bus stop so how can we ever meet them :X hahah. In the end junyi CLAIMED that the uncle was too lazy to change the sign so they went to the east coast direction instead of punggol. So LOL. junyi always like to make us laugh, after that time 大家准备好了没有? incident, this one is the second time! hahah. had a good chat with them on the bus, talking abt hang out plans. After their As if they wn go anywhere i will pon school to go with them im serious! :D hahah.


Friday was kite flying day at the field opp nic's condo! Very fang bian. lol. Let the pictures speak. Thanks to the sun that we took some 有艺术 de photos. :) Love time spent with BG too!

  
  
  
 

The last pic was taken after several attempts of bk's jump. lol. Like it alot, the sun's effect! haha. Went for dinner and then nic's sky gym to chitty chat. Some of the things that happened i dint know la :S The day ended with an atomic ball on my face by mq, that made my eyes blurry, my nose out of shape and my spects crooked. HAHAHA.


Sat was a charity event by steph's mum's company. Went to the one-room flats in TPY and helped to clean up and paint. The flat allocated to us was an indian family, the daughter, only 25 suffered from stroke and fits and had to make frequent visits to the hospital, while her mum and her aunty living with them had mental illness. 

Watched the quan yi feng and christopher lee show, and had always wanted to have a chance to experience this kind of event myself too. The condition of the house we helped, wasnt as bad as those in the show i thought. But there were food left over for a few days that made one of the volunteers puke :x 

When I went into the kitchen, really dono where to start cleaning :x It was very small, with little space even for movement, with 3 people in the kitchen. So went to help to paint the walls of living room :) Had lunch (nasi lemak) and went back to help steph with the painting of kitchen. Its really our 天地 la, all the volunteers said. haha. Sweated alot, esp steph who spent alot of time and spent painting the ceiling. Nonetheless we had our fun :D 

They were also given new mattresses and pillows and can see from their faces that they are really happy and appreciative :) Not only an experience, but also a lesson learnt, a wake up call, to cherish everything I have. Hopefully I will always keep this in mind.


Sunday, BG went to kbox again! Cos some NY people just finished their prelims :x haha. Dint go cos is my mummmmy's bday so wna be guai and stay at home lol :) Had dinner tgt at xinwang and joined member cos its really super worth it -.- haha.

Class chalet in sec 2. Most memorable thing is the cleaning up of oily yucky room after bbq! literally knelt down and wipe the entire floor :x haha.

Hospital Attachment :) good experience & memories with steph and adam. We got to try admin stuff like changing of gloves, feeding patients, talking to them, physiotherapy, visited the robot- working kitchen and they even went to the place where the body of people who have passed away are disposed (i dono what is it called) i don dare to go in la :x

i forgotten to bring the chess set there for 2 days and made the uncle very disappointed. The last day i rmbed to bring but lost the paper! In the end drew it out lol. Steph queen clearing the patient's urine :)

I REALLY JUMPED LAA! AND SCREAMED OMG. Dad kept scolding ferdinand after he made the mistake and let man city score at the 89th min :x and I sianed half too. AND OWEN SCORED AT THE LAST MIN! :D YAYYY DAMN HAPPY NOW. HEHEHEHE.

Plans-ful week :) HAHA. 
Monday - Magic meeting. Discussed abt camp :) And finished my ice breakers and day games on that day itself! Efficient right. haha.

Tuesday - Badminton with queen at hg sports complex. Saw a group of about 6 uncles/ ahzeks who were very good! They like meet up EVERY tues and thurs. damn cool la :x Late- lunch at opp xms coffeeshop. Saw  ms beh but she dint see us :x Went to her house after that and looked at her memories box of memories :) Funny quarreling letters, sweet notes, cards, gifts, memories of 2e2 & sjab. haha. And yes, one thing is to add on for this hols wld be to look thru my memories stuff. Will be damn sweet if everyone shares everyone's la :)

Wed - My first sakae buffet! With fellow INYO house captains, GLs and 3 pathetic freshies! (2 from my group yay) Competed for stacking up plates with the other table and laughed alot esp at kay yong and amanda pig! And promoting bzse as the best course. haha! After that it was quite late already and some of us got curfew and so I SMARTLY SUGGESTED TO WATCH THE NEOPRINT SHOW! :) Went to douby ghaut and took neoprints! Sweet stuff. Esp when the guys were so reluctant but still forced to take with us. haha.

Thurs - Badminton again with queen! This time we tried to train our back hand. I think this is the first time i really tried to use back hand PROPERLY. In the past i just anyhow whack. haha. after that went to have late lunch at hg mall kopitiam and then popular. Tried to do P4 science and I REALISED I FORGOT WHAT IS A LIVING THING. I thought everything is a living thing. I still confidently say what newspaper and bench is! :X and queen kept laughing at me. zzzz. Then i reminded her about the time when we watched spiderman, she was sitting beside me and i asked her whether the bad spiderman died after being bombed by a bomb or sth, she confidently told me "try putting  bomb beside you and see whether you will die anot" IN THE END THE SPIDERMAN REALLY DINT DIE. HAHA. Told her about the francine's 举头望明月，粒粒皆辛苦。ooops. lol.

Friday - Sentosa with FS NP8! :) Great day out, despite the rain and everything, took many many photos with 4 cameras :X haha. Played captain's ball, soccer, frisbeeeee! Think most people got hurt by sinyee in one way or another ytd. She pushed pq down many times, chow's and mabel's arms, me and sheena's foot, she was partly/fully the cause of them. HAHAHA. jk. The thousand and one photos on fb! :)

  

有时候觉得上学好，至少有 holidays 可以一起出去玩。开始做工的时候应该比较少见面了吧。


但至少我很确定的是，这些回忆，这些一起度过的时光，一直会在心里。:)

Very long never sick le. (since LMS/issues presentation day) and this time tio 3 in 1 (laosai + puke + fever :x)

1. Too much radiation (cos phone beside me)
2. That very expensive chocolate ice cream (forgot whats its called)
3. Irregular meals
4. Sleep late
5. ................................................ (ok CHOY)

I think should be eat something wrong. Finally knew what is 上吐下泻 :x Dint eat anything except a few mouths of 绿豆粥 and slept and sweat the whole day ytd :x

But now better already la :)

I dint know i will be that desperate :x digging out the FOC CAMP LIST from recycling bin and looking out for the names that match the email addresses of the year 1s i found by chance under the email kengsan sent and jot down their hp nos. :x (if you know what i meant)

President told me beforehand that i were to keep in contact with the year 1s i said ok and till now did i realise i dont even have their names and hp nos. Anyhow-ly got myself a title that i think im not up to, and worse when i dont know what is expected of me, what im suppose to do (human resource mgt- job ambiguity :x) HOW!

Added all the year 1s on msn, talked to 3 of them on msn. The first told me he doesnt have his classmates' no. The other told me that they will help me check whether her friend is going, her friend was away and dint reply. I asked for her name and she went offline :x The last went offline after i asked her whether she knows which other magic club members are gng.

Thank goodness there's still 2 nice juniors who helped me contact their classmates :) THANK GOODNESS.

We really need a camp man. Whats up with a cca where seniors and juniors dint see one another before. DINT EVEN KNOW ONE ANOTHER'S NAMES. gosh. CAMP CAMP CAMP, I WANT CAMP!

wheeeee back from skating. First time in my life skating PROPERLY. hahah. first few times putting on the skates i rmb was at alison's hse in amanda's skates, a traumatizing experience at east coast with gang and with eileen's help, and last one is another traumatizing experience (sorry vocab limited lol) at east coast again with bzse for sheryl and billy's bday and with ten thousand people holding on to me. HAHA. 

It all starts from falling, like what most people experience (to an wei myself) :x I fell 6 times, and after the last fall, i _____ and grace fell quite alot of times too and she  ____ and we both ______ (i think i scare tio ronneh sorry! :x not to be revealed until tmr in case i scare away people who are gng tmr lol.) Thanks shua ge, ronneh and juowi for your patience mann esp shua ge, one to one skates peer tutoring. HAHA at least i can roll the wheels properly now, though many times i look like im swimming :x heh.

Looking forward to tmr. More people gng yay :D

Watched ndp just now again. probably my first time watching the whole thing from beginning till the end, and the parade as well. Cool. Was laughing at the commando (oops) his expression when he command very funny lol. everything was great, esp with two great companions around. the performance, coordination, parade, everything. great job to all the participants! Feel proud to be a singaporean! oh, i like the first song chen wel lian & gayle nerva sang. dono whats the song title and couldnt find it anywhere though :x


And yeah, I WILL SURVIVE.

Despite being very nervous and hands shivering and mouth quivering when speaking (like what mr wee said), interview went quite well. Was very shocked at his first question asking me what my name stands for cos I never would expect such a question -.- haha. I just dai guo :X lol.

rahhhhh stupid adam is lateeee! :X and im alone hungry cold hungry cold and alone in this mac located at amk opp the library behind the bushes over the rainbow beside the trees up in the air and down on the land. (pee will wna help me contact silver ribbon again haha)

anyway later gng to NDP PREVIEW! jealous anot. (adam just arrived :x) will be even better if the whole gang is able to go :( just now suddenly got reminded of the craziness and highness and ATTENTION SEEKINGNESS in sec 1 and 2 national day celebrations. The sing-very-loudly-national-day-songs. We're always the 万众瞩目的焦点! haha.

可能就因为不常见面而更珍惜每一次见面的时间。
可能就因为读不同学校而不会为了功课而翻脸或不愉快。
可能就因为是真正的朋友才会互相帮助，互相鼓励，为彼此的成就感到开心，而不是妒忌，讽刺。

有时在想，如果有你们在该有多好。
但又想想，其实这样也好，因为少了功课上必定会有的摩擦。
偶尔吃吃饭拍拍照，说废话玩游戏。

这样也很开心。
